Fighter Biography |
When and why did you start training for an MMA career? |
When I was 10 years old, I started taking Kajukembo under Grand Master Chavez. Martial Arts is a lifestyle for me and I decided to start fighting MMA to test myself and make myself even better. |
Who are you currently training with and who is helping you prepare for this fight? |
I train with Grand Master Melcor Chavez at the Chavez Dojo. My whole team helps me and motivates me every day. |
Describe a typical training day when you are preparing for an upcoming contest? |
Every day I do some sort of cardio and strengthening exercises. I also work on all styles of combat that I feel are necessary for MMA. |
How have you prepared for your opponent and his style of fighting? |
I feel like I am ready for any aspect of MMA and I plan to use my skills to counter anything he can bring into the cage. |
What is your favorite technique? |
I really like leg locks. |
What do you hope to accomplish this year in your MMA career (i.e., where do you see yourself in one year)? |
I hope to test myself the best I can and be victorious. Hopefully, I won’t let any of my fans down. |
