Fighter Biography |
When and why did you start training for an MMA career? |
After wrestling, there was nothing else to do. Plus, I get to fight, they pay me, and I don’t go to jail. |
Who are you currently training with and who is helping you prepare for this fight? |
I train at ABQ Kickboxing and West Mesa with my uncle Lenny Lovato. My stand up coach is Ray Yee. |
Describe a typical training day when you are preparing for an upcoming contest? |
Eat and sleep and train. That is all my life consists of before my fights. |
How have you prepared for your opponent and his style of fighting? |
Train hard, eat right, and be mentally ready. |
What is your favorite technique? |
Ground and pound |
What do you hope to accomplish this year in your MMA career (i.e., where do you see yourself in one year)? |
Of course, win this fight. I do not like to look ahead, but hopefully by the end of the year, I would like to be in the WEC. |
